August 19- Depart US for Glasgow
Day 1: August 20 – Arrive into Glasgow Airport – take the Airport Bus to Grand Central Station. You will be left off across the street from the hotel. OR grab a taxi. Make your way over to the lobby and check-in. You will be met there by myself and our guide. If you are up for it, let’s do a walking tour to get your bearings into the city. We will end the day at a local restaurant for a fabulous welcome dinner. Voco Grand Central Hotel
Day 2:. August 21 – We venture out today! Let’s take the train to Edinburgh. You will have the day to explore the Capital city on your own, or we can plan some wonderful group activities. Let’s meet up for a fun dinner, (not included) then head out to a vault tour, before we head to Edinburgh Castle for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo! After, we make our way back to our hotel for the evening.
Day 3: August 22 –.I would like leave the next 3 days open for options! Once we have a full group, we will begin discussions as to where we shall venture next. ie..Stirling/Falkirk, Lothian, Perthsire, Pitlochry, New Lanark, Ayreshire and so much more. Back to the hotel for the evening, dinner on your own
Day 4: August 23 -Another day open for discussion! It’s a day out on the train to an unknown destination! Back to the hotel for the evening. Dinner on your own
Day 5: August 24 – A full day in the city of Glasgow. Take a trip on the Hop-on/Hop off bus, take a cycle ride along the Clyde River, or just enjoy a fun day out shopping along Suchiehall Street and/or Buchannan Street. The day is yours to enjoy. Dinner on your own this evening. Our guide is available to you today as well
Day 6: August 25 – Today, we will be checking out of our hotel and catching the train to Fort William. Our coach will pick up our bags and we will make our way to Queen Street Station for our last journey on the rail. Once we arrive, the coach will pick us up and take us to our next visit, TBD. From here, we end at our hotel in or near Fort William. Hotel pending
Day 7: August 26 – Let’s have one last day on the rails. It’s the Jacobite Steam Train today. We will have a full day out, venturing to Mallaig via the Glennfiddich Corridor. You will have time for lunch or snacks in the quaint fishing village, before we make our way back to Fort William. Our driver will pick us up and transfer us back to the hotel for the evening. Day 8: August 27 – It’s time to head out to the Isle of Mull today. We will determine the route and will have a fun time along the route. We will either overnight on the island itself in Tobermory, or in the town of Oban. Hotel TBD
Day 9: August 28 – Let’s head onto the island of Mull today! We will enjoy a full day on the island and make our way to the Isle of Iona as well today. Back to the hotel for the evening.
Day 10: August 29 – It’s back to Glasgow for the evening. We will figure out our visits along the way. Dinner will be on us tonight! It’s our last night in Scotland, so we will have a wonderful farewell dinner planned for you tonight. Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Airport
Day 11: August 30 – We are staying right at the airport, you can walk to the terminal for your return flight home. Safe Travels! Haste Ye Back
